Kat at Failure to Thrive serves families and failure-to-thrive children beyond what a standard clinic provides (and this is from first hand experience). Many parents and failure-to-thrive children fight day and night to eat, gain weight, and grow, but every time they talk with a therapist or dietitian, they feel like they are just guessing – no clear strategy, followup, or support. After 7+ years in corporate healthcare, Kat decided to step out and create a program, resources, and community to serve an often overlooked demographic.
“I’m closing just over 50% of my consult calls now. Before the launch I was somewhere in the 30 to 40% range. I’m also wasting a lot less time on calls with people who aren’t interested or aren’t a good fit for me. My no-show and ghosting rates have both gone down since April too.”

Project Details & Overview
Before working with us, Kat had her website on a DIY Squarespace website. This website served Kat for many years to help her send potential clients to learn more and register, but she quickly realized a few problems with the website:
The navigation and content flow was cluttered and scattered
The verbiage on the website didn’t speak into both the problem and the potential solutions
She found herself spending a lot of time explaining the differences between her programs on calls and emails, rather than spending time just onboarding
She was building a content library but had no place to organize it into free content and paid content
As a return, we started from the ground-up with the story that she was telling and connecting with the emotional distress that failure-to-thrive parents felt. In doing such, we have seen an uptick in applications, an easier workflow to go from discovery > curious > scheduling a fit call > application, and creating an e-commerce store to sell her DIY products and guides. We also created a video “library” on her website that syncs with Instagram so that anytime a video is posted, it appears on her website but people never have to leave the website to engage with the videos.
