Website Design & Development
Go Gutters is a new company that is positioning themselves as the obvious choice for gutters and all other exterior home projects in two locations: South Bend, IN and Hampton Roads, VA. When I first talked with the owner, James, they were going to start running Google Ads and other SEO campaigns to get traffic on the website.
James, being a friend of mine, asked me to look over the old website to see if I thought if it was ready to send traffic to the website. After going through the website, it was pretty clear that the website was not ready for traffic, so, we decided to give it a massive overhaul! Here is Go Gutters new, custom WordPress website.
Problems That Needed Solving
- The old website was a small website with only a few pages, no individual pages for each service
- You couldn’t find any information on who was behind Go Gutters on the old website
- The old website was built on a DIY website builder . . . and felt like it
- There was no SEO optimized copy on the old website, resulting in zero organic search traffic
Project Details
- The website homepage still featured the key components of the old website, but we used vivid imagery to paint the picture of what someone’s home can look like when they work with Go Gutters
- Each service page was written with SEO in mind, resulting in longer pages, more content, and detailed frequently asked questions with answers
- The old website was build on WIX, but we moved the website over to WordPress so that we can integrate better workflows as the business grows, including a CRM.
- Website is hosted on my personal servers so that the only support contact they need is me
