Website Design & Development
First Baptist Church Bradfordville went through a complete rebranding of their church – including a new logo, vision statement, and website. In order to complete the final piece of their new branding, FBC Bradfordville needed a website up in the matter of a couple weeks so that the website could be live by their vision Sunday. The result? One of the fastest website projects I’ve completed to date.
This church website project was completed in partnership with D373, the best church marketing and church social media company in the business.
Project Needs:
The new church website needed the following pieces:
- Sermon media portal that allowed for easy sermon series sorting and simple uploading
- Calendar that can stand alone on the website while still receiving sign-ups
- A single About page that helps potential visitors understand the history and see the vision for the church
- A Plan Your Visit page to help people feel comfortable walking into the church for the first time.
Project Details:
Here are the solutions to the above project needs:
- The church’s sermon media section is powered using the Series Engine WordPress plugin. This plugin allows the church to upload sermon audio, connect their YouTube videos, and creates a podcast feed for the sermon library.
- The church’s calendar is powered by Modern Events Calendar Pro by Webnus, allowing us to create as many events as we’d like, including recurring events.
- I used Fluent Forms Pro to receive all of the contact form entries, including sign-up forms on the event pages. This plugin also allows the church to collect payments on the registration forms, too.
- The website itself, although not being a large website, shows all the church’s information simply and concisely. On the homepage, I created a testimonial section so that visitors can get first hand accounts from their church members, and on the about page, we included a simple yet detailed explanation of the church’s new vision statement.
