Website Design & Development
In recent years, First Baptist Church (FBCR) in Richardson, Texas found itself with a broken website with an unusable backend. In order to help the church get a fresh start online, FBCR reached out to D373 and myself to build a new website for the church! This website needed to be built on WordPress, be simple to update and manage, and include a strait forward solution for auto updating sermon media.
In order to help website visitors like and trust FBCR enough to Plan a Visit, I had many phone calls and Zoom calls with their team to ensure that we used their church’s language and verbiage across the entire website.
This project was done in partnership with D373.
Project Details
- Custom design and development on WordPress
- Detailed “Plan Your Visit” page to help website visitors understand their campus and different service types and locations
- Inclusion of online reviews to help build credibility with website visitors
- Custom built event portal that allows for complete control over which events are listed on the website with options to register on their Church Management Software
- Auto updating weekend service page that is connected directly to their YouTube channel
- Instructional videos database to help the FBCR team be comfortable with managing the website after launch.
